David P. Buchanan

Mr. Buchanan has practiced in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury and product liability for almost 29 years. He began his career in 1993 working for a Texas law firm defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. He also worked on the defense side of product liability and personal injury litigation. In 2001 Mr. Buchanan moved to Illinois and became licensed to practice in the state. He worked for a defense firm in Chicago for several months. In late 2001, Mr. Buchanan switched to representing plaintiffs and has never looked back. He spent the next 4 years working at Goldberg Law Offices, Ltd. handling medical malpractice cases. In 2006, Mr. Buchanan left that employment and started the law firm currently known as Buchanan Law, LLC.

Mr. Buchanan has recovered millions of dollars for plaintiffs in Illinois while charging no fee until the case is won or settled, mostly for people who would not be able to afford a lawyer with his expertise and experience. He is fluent in Spanish and has represented numerous clients who speak little to no English.
